Summer School 2023
Summer School organized by the Juniors of FOR2722 was a great success and provided a fruitful interexchange among the speakers and participants. Having a diverse group of speakers like Aleksandra Trifunovic, Heike Hoyer-Kuhn, Julia Etich, and Julian Nüchel brought different perspectives and expertise to the event, enriching the overall experience for everyone involved.
During the event the members had multiple opportunities to present and discuss their research results, as well as exchange their methodological knowledge. Being immersed in the interactive research environment showed great benefits to the participants, as it encouraged them to discuss their projects with the leaders in the ECM area.
In addition, the juniors took part in a Gender Competence Workshop, where they had an opportunity to enhance their awareness and understanding of gender-related issues in scientific work. This workshop provided them with valuable insights and practical strategies for integrating gender competence into their research and promoting a more inclusive scientific community.
Summer School 2023 is a great platform for learning, networking, and fostering intellectual growth. Thank you to the Juniors of FOR2722 for being a part of such a successful event and providing an enriching experience for all the participants. Special acknowledgment goes to the organizers Kristina Bubb and Susanne Reincke for offering such diverse and impactful program!
